Oscar Lodge is a friendly and welcoming establishment situated in Windsor. It is within walking distance of Windsor Castle, Windsor Leisure Centre and minutes drive to Legoland, Eton, Royal Winsdor Racecourse, Ascot, M4, M3 and M25. Date Stayed :- November 4th and 5th 2008

Waited for ten minutes in reception on arrival for someone to attend to me. The gentleman who did attend to me eventually was very helpful. The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller with no proper curtain or blind just a lace curtain. This meant I could not have a light on in the bathroom when using it as everyone would be able to see me from the street!! Bed was comfortable but was not allowed to sleep late as the lady of the establishment would be talking/shouting at the top of her voice outside my room at 8am!! Don't they realise that some guests may want to sleep!! This happened on both mornings. Breakfast wasn't tempting as it was only cereal etc and also only 4 small tables in the breakfast room in a hotel with over 10 rooms!! My bed had not been made on the second day and my tea/coffee had not been renewed. The room was cold. My room rate was cheaper than the norm (£40 per night) - moved out on the Wednesday to the Travelodge in Slough for a bigger room - double bed - bigger bathroom - heating - all for £19 a night! £40 was a bit of a rip off.
